Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Ingredients:

Cake:

  • 2 c. flour
  • 4 t. baking powder
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 10 T. cocoa
  • 1 c. milk
  • 8 T. oil
  • 2 T. vanilla
  • 1-2 c. chopped nuts

Topping:

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. cocoa
  • 3 1/2 c. hot water

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Mix all cake ingredients together and pour into a 9" X 13" pan.  Mix dry topping ingredients and speinkle over cake mixture.  Pour hot water over all ingredients.

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream

* Note: toothpick test for doneness does NOT work with this cake. *
