Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Ingredients:
Cake:
- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 t. soda
- 1/2 t. salt
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 (15 oz) can fruit cocktail including juice
- 1 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Topping:
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 t. vanilla
(Bring to boil; boil 1 minute.)
Directions:
Mix all ingredients but coconut and nuts; pour into 13" X 9" pan. Sprinkle on coconut & nuts; bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Remove from oven and immediately poke holes in top of cake; pour on boiling topping.
